The Climate

Mallorca has a very agreeable subtropical climate where the summers are warm and the winters pretty mild. In Palma the medium temperature is 20 degrees. In the fall and winter there falls a moderate rain on the north side of the island. It rains very rarely during the summer. There is an average of 7 to 9 sun hours every day. The most unstable time is between December and March when it’s both raining and sunny and the temperature is between 15 and 20 degrees. During May and June there are some cloudy days with rain, otherwise the air is clear and pleasant. The summer has a daily temperature of between 25 and 30 degrees. At times the temperature rises above 30 degrees and the hottest month is August. During the fall the weather becomes more unstable and October is the rainiest month. In spite of this the temperature can sometimes reach 20-25 degrees.
